I started my journey with teaching adults in 2016 and then seeing my daughter enjoying basic stretches at home, I got inspired to start this venture a year later. I have been practicing yoga for most of my adult life, and after I became a mom, I fell in love with the idea of sharing yoga and mindfulness with my daughter. I have always been passionate about working with children and recognized a great need to address stress, aniexty and obesity since they are becoming such common issues amongst children.
From creating the yoga lesson plans, yoga games, and teaching yoga to children, I draw from my experience as a traveler, a certified yoga teacher, and a mom to a spirited child.
Founded in 2017, the courses of Yoga+kids is backed by a year long of research and learning. The style of teaching children yoga will keep your child engaged and happy! Through imaginative play, your children will learn breathwork, meditation, yoga poses, be mindful, release stress, feel better about themselves and calm their emotions – all of which makes them healthier and happier.
